Technical requirements
- The tap body is made from 304 stainless steel.
- The valve core is made from PA (non-toxic nylon).
- The outlet spout is made from SUS304 stainless steel with a brushed finish.
- The product surface must undergo a 48-hour neutral salt-spray test.
- The lead content of materials in direct contact with water must be below 0.1%.
- Apply environmentally friendly silicone grease to all flexible seals. The handle must operate smoothly.
- The brushed surface must be sound and fine-textured, with uniform colour and consistent brushing direction. No scratches, dents or other visible defects are permitted.
- No machining oil may remain inside the product, and no cutting debris may remain inside the waterways.
- Test the product underwater using air pressures of 0.8 MPa and 0.2 MPa. No bubbles may appear.
- At a dynamic water pressure of 0.3 MPa, the flow rate must exceed 3.5 litres per minute.
- Connect the tap to a water-hammer testing machine set to 1.04 MPa. Complete 100,000 cycles without deformation, damage or leakage.
- Apply a torque of 5 kgf·cm to the handle in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions. No damage or leakage is permitted.
- Test at a water temperature of 4–21°C and a water pressure of 230 psi for 15 minutes, with no leakage.
- Package the product in a non-woven fabric bag.
- Inner box dimensions: 340 × 140 × 32.
